Amazing Destinations for Vietnam Tour Packages
Nowadays everyone is now talking about Vietnam tours, so you may wonder why and should you book any Vietnam tour packages? And what are you going to see in Vietnam tour packages? Here is the travel guide on amazing Vietnam destinations.
First of all, we are going to talk about Vietnam in genaral. Vietnam stretches over 1650 km along the eastern coast of the Indochinese Peninsula( from 8° 34´ N to 23° 22´ N) with a wide range of latitudes and altitudes, so Vietnam has a remarkably diverse climate. Thanks to different climate in different areas, there are always places for your Vietnam tours. In this article, we want to mention about the top destinations in the south and center Vietnam for Vietnam tour packages.
The South of Vietnam: The temperature is constant all year, ranging from 77-86° F/ 25-30° C. The dry season is from November to April of next year and the wet period from May to October. Saigon or Ho Chi Minh city is the biggest city in the south of Vietnam. The city was under the French control. This is the reason why Saigon city has great influence with colonial architecture and the tree-lined boulevards. After the French left, the American came. Therefore, nearby you can visit Cu Chi tunnel which was built by the Vietnamese fighters duruing the war time. Here you can see how they lived. However, the top destination in the south of Vietnam is not in the city itself but Mekong delta where you have unbelievable experience on daily life of the locals, discover their floating houses, floating markets.....
After three hour drive from Ho Chi Minh City, you can relax on long, beautiful and sandy beaches of Mui Ne. Besides this, you can enjoy wind-surfing and kite-surfing. It is also famous for the wind-sculpted red and white sand dunes. This offers great chance for incredibly beautiful photos, so do not forget your camera. Mui Ne's stunning scenery, luxury resorts and beautiful golf courses create wonderful Vietnam holidays.
The Central Vietnam: The hot season is about 2°C or 3°C hotter than the north temperature. Its rainy season falls in between September and December. Especially, the central is sometimes hit by typhoon with strong wind and heavy rain. However, the center Vietnam is the perfect combination of relaxing on beautiful golden sand beaches and the history of Vietnam with three UNESCO world heritage sites. The first is mysterious Myson – the holly Champa kingdom(dated back from the 3rd century to 13th century). The second is the ancient Hoian town where commercial activities was dominated by Japanese and Chinese merchants. Many of them settled in Fai Fo, where each community maintained their own governor, legal code and strong cultural identity. The Japanese, Chinese and Vietnamese built Hoi an old town of architectural monuments in various forms: living house, assembly hall, communal house, pagoda, shrine, temple, water well, bridge, wharf, market... The third is romantic Hue. It was chosen to be the capital of Vietnam in 1802 under the Nguyen dynasty and continued its role until 1945. Hue was created on the model of the Forbidden city in Beijing with many palaces, temples inside. More recently the French culture has left a strong impression in the city. I really adore Vietnam because it is an impressive and breathtaking country in Asia. Vietnam holidays offer the chance to relax on an ideal white sand beach or travel the country to find out a unique culture and some extraordinary sights.
Moreover, I would suggest you to visit Virginia too because there are lots of marvelous places and resorts it is perfect for all types of holidays. There are some of the best hotels and resorts located especially in Luray, VA.

A review for Heritage Cruises and the Hoang Lan Hotel, Ha long Bay, Vietnam:
A warning to anyone who wants to book in the Hoang Lan Hotel, DO NOT.
The rooms are unclean, cockroaches running around and we thought we detected signs of bed buds.
What was worse was we asked the advise of the lady, Shoan i think her name was, about arranging a boat trip around Ha Long bay, she said she could arrange for us to be on one of the more luxurious junks on a 2 day tour. She had shown us pictures of the Indochina boat which looked top notch. We arriving at the port there was a lot of waiting around followed by Shoan ushering us towards another guide, he then in turn ushered us to a guide in a Heritage t-shirt. He was to be our guide and wouldn't give us his full name, just the name Bang. After a lot of waiting we asked when we would be boarding the indochina, he said the indochina was being cleaned (which proves he was part of the scam) and we were to take another boat. By this point we had already given our passport to him so had to play ball for now. We took a short boat ride out to our boat, which was a Heritage cruise boat, with half the letter fallen off the side of the boat. The pictures we saw looked nothing like what we had been sold, the rooms were small and the food was inedible. One of the other guest on the tour sleeping on the lower deck heard rats in the night. What was worse was our guide Bang was extremely rude, unhelpful, and knew nothing of interest about Ha Long Bay.
The boat docked several times to drop people off at Cat Ba Island and Monkey Island, Bang would promise he would only be 5 minutes and almost 2 hours later would come back. If we were informed of his timings we would of gone for a swim or just relaxed on the top deck but the continual lack of information was frustrating to say the least. One one kayaking trip, we asked if he would join us kayaking to show us some of the cave, he said "no, he was tired and the kayaking was boring". On another kayaking trip, he guided us out to some cave about 10-15 mins away from the boat and told us to go in, when we exited the cave he was no where to be seen and had gone back to the boat leaving us to find our way back in the dark.
After a lot of complaining we were transferred to another boat. As we were transferring to the dock, one of our friends almost fell in between two boats, there was no assistance from Bang. We transferred to the Dolphin Cruise which was marginally nicer but still not what we had been sold. We made the most of our time in Halong Bay but felt thoroughly ripped off.
I would urge any one considering a tour in ha Long bay not to book through the Hoang Lan Hotel or through Heritage tours. They are liars and scam artists.
