DAY 01 : HA NOI ARRIVAL (D)
Meet on arrival at Hanoi/ Noi Bai International airport, transfer Hotel in Hanoi for check in. Meeting at lobby of the hotel. Cyclo tour (2 hour), visit to the Old Quarter of Hanoi and Ngoc Son Temple. Dinner at restaurant, then back to the hotel, free time.
DAY 02 : HA NOI – NINH BINH – HA NOI (B,L,D).
Ninh Binh: Tam Coc & Hoa Lu - the ancient capital. Breakfast then leave at 8 am by mini van for a day trip to Tam Coc for the boat trip along the paddy fields through the caves then lunch served by in the River side Restaurant. Next is the drive through the villages along the limestone mountains to visit the ancient capital city of Vietnam. Drive back to Hanoi.
DAY 03 : HA NOI – HA LONG – HA NOI (B,L,D).
AM: 8h00 Departure from your hotel. Enjoy the interesting 3,5 hour drive to Ha Long city with a stopover on the way.
11h00 Arrive in Ha Long city - get on your private boat and then a lunch will be served on boat. Your cruise will last 4 hours, through the emerald waters between the limestone outcrops and long corridors, visit THIEN CUNG cave (the cave of the heavenly palace - famous for its stalagmites and stalactites), the cave has only opened to the public since 1998 .
A short way visit the newly discovered DAU GO grotto (wooden stakes) - where in 1288 one of Vietnamese most famous Generals Tran Hung Dao amassed hundreds of stakes deep inside the cave prior to a battle with an invading Mongol army.).
16h00 Back to Halong city where your minibus will be waiting for you to take you back to Hanoi.
19h30 Arrive in Hanoi.
Drop off at Thang Long theatre for water puppet show, the unique Vietnamese traditional art. This art originates from rural festivals in Vietnam. Overnight at hotel.
DAY 04 : HA NOI - NOI BAI AIRPORT (B,L).
Breakfast. Visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and Museum. Enjoy the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho’s final resting palace. Just next-door is Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts where he used to live in the past. Lying to one side of the Mausoleum is the One Pillar pagoda, built by King Ly Thai To in 1049. The structure has become an important symbol for the people in Hanoi. Visit Quan Thanh Temple (Taoist, dating from the Ly Dynasty) and Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda on West Lake (one of the oldest in Vietnam). Lunch at restaurant. Arrive to Noi Bai Airport. End of the tour.
