I am going to Australia with a friend at the end of May next year. We will be in Melbourne, Sydney, and Brisbane each for a couple days.

Does anyone know of any companies that provide fun tours of any of these cities? I'm just looking for tours that last from a few hours to a day in length.

There are plenty of tour companies that will take you around - just type 'Tours in Melbourne' (or Sydney/Brisbane) into Google. Are you going to be renting a car? If you want to save some money you can probably do some of the tours yourself - just find out where they are and drive there. Even without a car you would be surprised where you can get with public transport.
