Hi all! Will be traveling all over Europe in a couple of months and would love to know if anyone knew of any text messaging applications I can use while abroad. Need to text my friends and family back home...I know there are some applications you can text from a computer but don't know any names Anyone know what these applications are??????? thx!

try out chime. you get a US phone number as part of your account registration so you can text to the US without international rates. chime is free too, its still in beta tho so you have to sign up and wait for them to "invite" you by email. you sign up at chimenow.com/int
