There is not really a bad time to visit South Africa but depending on what you would like to do, some seasons are better than others. The best time to go on safari for example isJune to September (dry season), visit Cape Town is November to March (summer) and go rafting is December to February (rainy season). South Africa's seasons are the
reverse of the northern hemisphere.
Spring is September - October
Summer is November - March
Fall is April - May
Winter is June - August
With our year round temperate climate, your decision about the best time to visit South Africa will not so much be based on the weather but more about experiences and
adventures you wish to have.

RE:
I think winter would be the perfect season to travel to Africa. You can go after August month as the weather would be very pleasant after August and you will love your trip of south Africa.Really Africa is a great place to explore.

This bad time to appointment South Africa, but according to what you wish to accomplish some seasons are bigger than others. The best time to go on carnival for archetype is June to September this can appointment the Cape from November to March and go rafting.

It depends on where in Africa you are visiting and what you do while you're there. I'm starting a tour in July around the East / South Africa - I chose July because the focus of our trip is the vision of the game and is much easier to see animals in the winter, as it is dry and is less dense bush, also with less availability of water is easier to find water holes that attract a lot of games. The nights and early mornings can be very cold, but once the sun begins to shine is not too bad and usually can get away with a shirt and shorts around noon.

Exactly it depends on the area you are going in Africa. Some of the best safari areas in south Africa are best visited from may through august when the weather is cooler and dry.

Nairobi is pretty nice. I recommend if you are really interested in exploring Kenya to leave the cities and head into the jungle. Why visit a country to enjoy sightseeing as you know, without doubt their best to push the boat. Mesarani Snake Park is also very good, the crater Ngorogoro is a very nice too.
