Traveling to Dublin mid Oct 09
Taking a two week trip to Ireland. (2 adventurous women in our 60's). Staying 2 days in Dublin, then renting a car and traveling around Ireland. Neither of us has ever driven on the left and reading the posts scares me about doing this. We were planning to drive the Ring of Kerry, but now I'm not sure we should do this. Any tips for driving and any locations where driving is better than others? Also, I've read on another site that rental companies aren't up front about insurance. Should we buy the car insurance offered by the rental company (Thrifty) or use the "free" insurance I can get on my World Master Card? Any hints, tips, etc. will be appreciated!

well as you are have told that you are travelling some people over the age of 60's and driving in other countries is very risky so its better that you should go for the car hire insurance. This type of insurance will offer best protection for you and your hired car. The person has to pay the insurance company some premium amount so they may cover them against any accidental/damage or loss.
