    Quebec City tour

Believe it or not I have been to Quebec City four times. When I walk in the street in Quebec City I feel like I am walking into the pass 1600’s.
This City has become a world historical preserved site. It was French colony before. It carries French heritage. The residents are French descendants. Even though they speak French but Quebec French is different from France French. An interesting face is 90%of the people do not speak English in Quebec City. Good thing I know some French.
The parking could be very expensive inside the city. There are many museums in the city; they allow you to park for two hours with no charge.
The Quebec City is not big, parking out side of the city or lower town will be a lot of cheaper. You can walk in to the city. It is also recommended to stay in Quebec City over night. They have a lot of small hotels in the city. They provide parking spot as well when you stay in their hotel.
Once you settle your parking and accommodation problem. Quebec City is ready for you to explore. Whether you like to visit market place, museum, road side coffee shop or have beer in the restaurant, enjoy French cooking Quebec City has it all. If you have never been to Europe, this city can give you a taste of Europe.
Being in Quebec City I feel like I am in Paris, or Geneva where my hotel school is. If I have time I will visit again.
The history for this beautiful city has to date back to 400 years ago in1600’s. .Quebec City in the throat of the St. Lawrence River. It was the fort control St. Lawrence sea way transportation. St. Lawrence Sea way is the water high way through the great lakes for fur trade. It has French military stationed in this city. The King found that it is difficult to sent supplies to his solders who stationed in this city and it is very costly. They decide to buy supplies in local market. Such as cloth, food and fresh vegetables. Unfortunately there are no one lives in this part of the world except native Indians.
The king has great idea that may find solutions for his military supplies. He hired some families to live in Quebec City. He pays for their transportation to Quebec City, pay salary for three years to live in Quebec City. Many people respond to his offer. Get paid just to move to Quebec City? And you don’t need to work for it. Three years later Quebec City became a small town. They start to produce food and cloth and other things could supply military needs. The history of Quebec has begun since the first settler came in 1600’s for military reason.
Quebec City welcomes tourist whole year round. Anytime of the year is good time to visit. I hope you will enjoy the little Paris in Canada - Quebec City.

Quebec is the largest province in Canada in terms of land area. It is also ranked second as the country's administrative division. Most of Nunavut.
