Costa Rica / Honduras / Cancun - HELP!!!!!!
Hello all,
I am looking for some advice on a potential last minute trip I have planned for July 2011 - 3 weeks time!
I have a 30 days trip and I would be very appreciateive if any of you had any comments on my proposed trip and if you think it is feesible in the time.
(1) Fly into Costa Rica - Day in San Jose, hit Jaco for a few nights then up to the north of Costa Rica to another spot to rest up/surf.
(2) Honduras - Plan to go to the Bay islands (Utila or Roaten or both if time)
(3) Cancun - To dive and relax for about a week.
Ideally I would like to go to Havanna for 2 nights but realise this may be over adventurous.
Any advice on places worth going on the way / travel arrangements inbetween as it appears to me that from Honduras to Cancun may be a long trek on the bus? With internal flights limited and very costly?
Anyway I would very much appreciate any thoughts you guys had on this.
Thanks

I would say it was a pretty ambitious tour yeah, and I fell in Cuba is very expensive. But if you plan one week all places, it is feasible as long as you do not fall in love with a stop at an early stage! You will have to add a day or two places in between travel well. But. I threw away my itinerary on the day of my arrival, when I became friends with people who go a different direction - the plans are good, but you do not always need them.
